It All Adds Up

Guess who else went back to school this week?!

That’s right, ME!

I’m taking two Accounting classes this semester. Both are very intensive. I only need to complete 1 for a promotion at work I have my eye on. The other one is a “why the heck not” class. They are super hard so far! It’s been 12 years since I took my last Accounting class and I am completely intimidated. The big book weighs 8.3 pounds!

Let’s see how it adds up:

School+Full-time work+long commute+homework=no time for quilting! Oh no.

I’ll be quilting and blogging less regularly. But I’ll still be keeping an eye on what you are doing! Help me keep the quilting withdrawals away with your pretty projects!

I did manage to get some UFO work in this week before school started. I quilted 48 feathers on my Rehab Quilt.

Still haven’t torn the paper away, maybe I’ll do that tonight. I'm linking up to my UFO Busters at Blackberry Creek Home Arts. Making some progress on this monster quilt! Every little feather adds up :)

  1. Awww sorry about the homework. Hopefully it will all pay off in the long run. Good luck! DOn't let the sewing machine get too dusty.

  2. At least the study will bring good things. When I was a new teacher, we had to take courses every summer but if it added up to a Masters degree, then we would be fired and they would hire someone that would get less pay. I regret now that after five years of graduate study, I have no MD and the time is out.

  3. Congratulations on going back to school and good luck... not that you'll need it! It's good to keep the brain active with new/different challenges. The semester won't last forever and quilty stuff will be waiting for you...
